We are proud to introduce you to the best oncoplastic and breast surgeon in Vijayawada, who is a lady with extensive experience in treating breast cancer and all benign breast problems in both women and men. At our specialist center for breast cancer, we provide comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with breast disease.
Our surgeon Dr. Amulya Mullapadi has completed advanced training in oncoplastic surgery, which combines the principles of surgical oncology with plastic surgery techniques. This approach allows for the removal of breast cancer while preserving the natural appearance and contour of the breast. Our surgeon is skilled in performing a variety of oncoplastic procedures, including breast conservation surgery, nipple-sparing mastectomy, and reconstruction using autologous tissue or implants.
In addition to her expertise in breast surgery, our surgeon has a strong focus on breast cancer screening, diagnosis and post-treatment care. She utilises the latest imaging technologies in mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, to detect breast cancer in its earliest stages.
Our center offers a full range of diagnostic services, including breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and mammogram.
At our specialist center for breast cancer, we provide personalised care to each of our patients. Our Oncoplastic surgeon in Vijayawada and team of healthcare professionals work closely with each patient to develop a customized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs. 1) My post-graduation served as the foundation for imbibing general surgical principles., I was on rotation to other surgical specialties over three years. As a Registrar in breast surgery, I was trained to manage benign and malignant breast diseases. My fellowship in the UK improved upon my knowledge with the addition of principles of breast oncology alongside oncoplasty and reconstruction.
2) My operative skills include mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, axillary clearance, and breast conservation procedures with oncoplasty and wire localized excisions. I have comprehensive training in mammography, breast ultrasound and can perform ultrasound guided aspiration and biopsy.
3) I am also capable of performing Oncoplastic procedures including mammoplasty, perforator flaps, mastopexy, lipomodelling and reconstructive procedures including implant-based reconstruction and pedicle flaps which is essential to practice as an Oncoplastic surgeon in Vijayawada.
1) I have experience in organizing breast imaging and ultrasound guided breast intervention workshops and conferences. I was part of the organizing team for National Breast Imaging and Interventions Program, Chennai in August 2016 and September 2017.
2) I am comfortable working with programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Medcalc software for statistical analysis. I also learnt the fundamentals of digital marketing.
3) I was part of the team that was entrusted with the responsibility of streamlining our data collection process at Chennai Breast Centre and making it accessible for audit and analysis. OncoCollectTM, a data collection software was made available, and we transferred our breast cancer patient data accumulated since 2007 from an excel sheet into the software. The process of digitization enabled us to present our data at national oncology conferences, submit two articles for publication with one more at the draft stage. I have guided other staff to keep the data collection up-to-date, ensuring they understand the importance of good documentation and proper data collection.
